Cornerstone Academy is the school that fulfills the vision of families at Cornerstone Evangelical Baptist Church. The school provides a safe and happy learning experience for children from preschool through high school.

The goal of Cornerstone Academy is to provide a loving environment for children to develop intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. In accordance with this goal, the staff views the school as a way of serving our Lord Jesus Christ through their service to children.

The Academic Program emphasizes the basic skills of reading, writing, spelling, math and communication skills as well as the disciplines of science, history, social studies, music, art, languages, physical education and various electives.

The Kindergarten and Preschool students are provided a program in English and Cantonese with teachers well versed in both languages.

The first through twelfth grade program is one of English immersion with the exception of one period a day devoted to Cantonese, Mandarin, or Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).

The Enrichment Program (extended care) provides before and after school enrichment activities to broaden the children's horizon in science, nutrition, drama, sports, computers, typing, movement, art, gardening, and choral singing.

The school seeks to help each person grow and develop in knowledge and appreciation of Christian principles, develop positive relationships with others and improve confidence and
self-esteem.
