After accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in high school, God took Chanson on the ride of a lifetime. Serving God has always been at the center of Chanson's priorities. He never planned to start a church, but God gave him higher calling.

Despite raising a family and leading a church, Chanson still found time for his passions of playing basketball, soccer, and music. To this day, Chanson has claimed CEBC fame because he can not only sing and play violin, he can also play accordion, and the saw. 

Pastor Josh is our English 10am Pastor and worship pastor here at CEBC. His life's passion is sharing the love of God that he personally experiences and loves watching God do amazing things through those people. When he's not running around overseeing different ministries and connecting with people heart to heart in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, you can find Pastor Josh enjoying good food, singing and photography. The next time you see him, ask him how many instruments he plays--music is his jam! 

A native San Franciscan, Pastor Clifford felt God call him into ministry when it broke his heart to see teenagers get into trouble at the high school he taught at. Since then, his passion for reaching people for Christ has not wavered. Pastor Clifford and his wife, Mamie, currently serve God together in the English Adult ministries here at CEBC by loving people and serving them through Bible classes and L.I.F.E. (Living in Fellowship Effectively) groups. Finding joy in all circumstances, he holds Philippians 4:4 close to his heart, “Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, rejoice.”

Reverend Saumiman along with his wife, Susan, has been overseeing Indonesian ministries at CEBC since 2013. They are both graduates from South East Asia Bible Seminary (SAAT) Malang. He was ordained pastor of the 2000 Synod of the Abdiel Christian Church in Surabaya. While Susan loves picnics and shopping, Saumiman loves sharing the gospel through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.

What is the purpose of life?  That was what challenged Mamie when she was young.  When she found Christ as her purpose, she found the most exciting journey.  Philippians 1:21 - “For to me, to live is Christ!”  From teaching children, to being an administrator at Cornerstone Academy, God has shown Mamie His miracles as she reaches children and families for Christ.  She has joy working with her husband, Clifford, to see people come to know Christ and watch them grow as disciples for Christ at CEBC. They are presently working with the English Adult ministries and the aGape Kids (kids ministry).Their top three vacation places are the Holy Land, Hawaii and Disneyland!

Rev. Moses Chen has been serving as the Mandarin speaking Pastor here at CEBC and has been pastoring for more than forty years in the Bay Area and Asia as well. You may often see him jumping up and down for Jesus getting people to passionately worship God! In his free time, Moses loves his hobbies of music, fixing computers, and cooking!
